OK. I was in your squad in Nurnberg. I recently retired from the Army Reserves with medical reasons and took an early out. I would love to speak with you after all these years. I am still convinced that you were the single best squad leader I had in my entire military career. Did you keep in touch with Tinker? I saw him at Leonard Wood when we were there he was a Drill sergeant. Id like to chat with him also if that's possible. I forget his first name.
I can be reached at my house line at 801-987-8544 or my cell at 801-879-2611
Id like to try again here in this lil mission I am on. There was a motto inside of the door and above the CQ desk in Merrill barricks, Nuremberg (Nurnberg). It was a SAPPER Motto and Id like to get the words and/or a picture. Thanks to anyone that can help.
It went:
We are Sappers _____ _______ ________ ________ we don't build we destroy!
Welcome. Were you stationed in Nurmberg in the early 80s?
