When I was pcs-ing out I went by HQ and asked if I could get a pic? (heck why not) Col. Steel not only gave me a pic. but autographed it, shook my hand and thanked me for my service in the 2nd ACR reg. One thing about Col. Steel...He was always in touch with his troops from the top all the way down to a pvt. in the "trenches"
