That's interesting. I was the battery clerk and I had the room directly across the hall from the orderly room. I remember a female working at the gym but I don't know what unit she was with. I think she was assigned to a unit in Graf, got pregnant...
I was assigned to D Btry From 81 to 83.Yes,there were several females.There room was right behind the CQ desk across the hall from my room. I was a mechanic,We had one working at our motorpool.
You're right Steve,I got there DEC.82 and there was a female or two at that time.
In late '81 or early '82 there was at least one female in D Btry. I know this for a fact because my best friend, Albert Sterling. ended up marrying her. Her first name was Sherri and she was from Ohio.
I was assigned to D Btry, 2/57 ADA during 77 & 78; we were in the same barracks as How Btry. There were no females assigned to D Btry at that time and I'm not sure when they would've been stationed there. From 78-81 I was reassigned to HQ 2ACR, Me...

Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
