You are right Jim, going downhill was a breeze. I don't recall going back up after all these years though. I'm sure it involved a lot of walking alongside of the bike. However, I don't think those hills were as bad as the ones we had to run up and down at Fort Knox during AIT. Heartbreak, Agony and Misery I believe they were named. Mike
Jim I dont remember Sgt Achuela(spelling??) . I remember SFC Jones, 1SG Sworn, the other Sgt Jones who played baseball all the time, Sgt Bergen, Klink, Mills, White and a few others.
My gunner was a Corporal, kinda short, skinny , and I think had red hair. Other than that its all kind of faded.
