Father Joe Fessio

During late 71 thru Sep 74 (when I returned stateside) our Catholic priest at Amberg was Fr. Joseph Fessio, a Jesuit priest getting his PhD in Theology in Regensberg. Fr. Joe was VERY competitve and played basketball with young enlisted troopers. He also refused to stay in the BOQ and insisted on staying in the barracks. His masses were very non-traditional and the number of attendees grew the entire period we were there. What you may not know was that Fr. Joe's faculty adviser at the Univ of Re… Continue

Yes that was my car! I bought it new through the PX and kept it for about a year (I had 3 cars during my tour in Amberg). Bought a new Ford Capri that I ended up shipping home. I'll add a picture of it on my page today. I remember all those guys (and you) except Ray Anderson - he must have kept a low profile.

Ron,

Sorry for the long delay in answering you psot, jsut have'nt been active on the computer lately.

Unfortunately, I have lost contact with Wayne Renner, but would like to get back in touch with him. I've had some contact with Ray and that led to getting in touch with CSM McQuerry.

Keep in touch I always enjoy hear from old comrads in arms.

Thanks for Anderson's e-mail address. Gail C. Kikade, what a blast from the past. I've described him to others without much success. At least with Gunter, his predecessor, I could play fussbol.

Thanks for the invitation. I googled Earl W. Renner this afternoon and found him in Indianapolis. He is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a small (40 employees) company called G & S Research, Inc. He is still quite proud of his West Point ring because he belongs to the West Point Association of Indiana. Send me a personal e-mail so we can keep in touch.

I lost touch with Anderson completely. The last time I spoke with him was in 1993. He was about to be unemployed and seemed to be focused completely on that.
