I got out of the Army in 1971. For me this tax break started the year after the war in Viet Nam ended.Back then it was supposed to be good for only 10 years but they made it life time.It saves me 15% off the county tax bill, around 250-300 dollars ...

Hi Thomas, sorry but the only Terry I remember was Terry Foster ( Ohio ) who was the Company Clerk of HQ Trp. Our 1st Sgt. was Archie Griggs. Personnel Section Sgt. was SFC Turner and OIC of Personnel was CWO 3 Bruce Woodward. ( what a dork! ) WAIT WAIT.. there was a Terry in the office, don't remember his last name but he hailed from Rhode Island. SP 5 Albert worked across the hall in S 2. God, it has been so long. What is " Red Eye " ?

Tom, I was at Pond Barracks from February 68 - March 69 as Company Clerk in K Troop. I was not a doctor then. I can't recall that I ever went on sick call or to the dispensary so the name CPT Nelson doesn't ring a bell. 40 years ago ...WOW
