Hi, you've got a great collection of photos from your time in I Troop. After 6 months in M Troop, I was transferred to I Troop. Capt Voke was the CO for my first 3 months, then he was replaced by Lt Wagner. Don't remember which platoon I had, but the names Ponzerrella and Dombrowski ring a bell. Who was the First Sergeant of I Troop? In one of the Troops I was in the First Sergeant as a big black man with a thundering voice and a great sense of humor; can't remember his name. In Feb 64 they moved me to L Troop to fill the XO slot. Those were great times. Toujours Pret.

I talked to Rob Gould about a year ago , he is on the old MSN Dragoon base , he was in the first platoon I think . He was the only one I found before this site . A couple years ago I was talking to a guy I was in Vietnam with in 65/66 and he said he was 1st Sgt. of I-Troop in 69 or around that time .

Hello Bill, sorry I had gotten back to you sooner in Atlanta, did you finally retire? I have been bouncing around the hospital. Still kicking and trying to hang on a few more years. You have a few photos in your collection I would like to make a copy of.

I remember you too once I seen your picture , I went to 1/9 th Cav in Oct. 65 , so some of the stuff before Vietnam is hard to remember without a little jarring . Yes , I bunked in the big scouts room on the third floor . Do you remember Pitts or Scurlock ?
