Toujours Pret Gerald,Welcome Sir, to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie, Officers Club, F-Trp., Amberg, Medics, etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures (pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).

Glad to see you on Dragoon Base. It's been a looooonnnng time for both of us since those days in the early 70's. How are you and Bonnie? We both retired at the end of June and after we sell our townhouse in Creve Coeur will move back to Vienna...no takers so far, so after three months on Cape Cod we've come back to St. Louis for "awhile." I don't recall SFC Lyon. My platoon sergeant (1st platoon) was SFC Webb and platoon leader was 1LT Stilley. And yes, it was an interesting year that has influenced the remainder of my life. I ended up as the unofficial historian for the 2nd Cavalry and do the 2nd Cavalry Association's history and news websites.
