Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
Looking back
I keep a blog elsewhere on the interwebs and I thought I'd give you guys an idea of Just exactly how I feel about the 2nd ACR.
I was stationed in Bindlach Germany, right before the fall of the Berlin wall. we didn't have it as hard as some of the older troopers here who were in Germany during the height of the cold war, Until we were deployed to the Gulf. Yet again our colors are and have been tested. The only thing I know for sure, is that they will continue to be called upon in times of trouble. Why? simply put, they're the best.
We send our soldiers to places far removed from their homes. We ask of them that they do things right the first time..no matter what it is that needs to be done. We require excellence. Our soldiers are the best that we as a nation can give. To me, that means the best in the world. No matter what you put them in or on, be it horses, bradleys, tanks or strykers, Our troops are the best. they have to be.
