I was contacted by a museum curator who is writing the history of OIF convoys, and 2ACR was guarding this one. He has interviewed Soldiers from all the other units involved but the 2ACR. Two of our troopers were KIA during the ambush, because I found their names and the date and place on the new OIF monument in Vilseck. I have absolutely no information on the ambush, so was hoping I could find someone who was there.
