Also of note: Recently in Pullman, Washington, a man was digging a pond in his yard and uncovered a stash of 33 beer "bottles" buried 18" deep in his yard. After submitting the containers to a university for testing, it was discovered they were 17,000 years old, believed to be the oldest beer containers ever discovered. His yard is now an archeological dig. He said he plans to donate most of the "bottles" to museums, but stated he would keep a few to fill with beer and re-bury in his yard for the Elvis clan, a local prehistoric people that originally left them. Elvis has left the house, but his beer remains!!

Have to run in and out as I will be fishing, too! Still, gonna look funny running in to see what's happening in the beginning to staggering and stumbling at the end to let ya'll know what I'm catching. There's a pretty good selection of German biers to choose from at the liquer store right down my street. Look forward to it. 500....wow. When I first found DB in 2002 there was nowhere near that many. Congrats and hello fellow Troopers!

Soooooo many biers to choose from. I have a Weihenstephaner Original Premium; Reissdorf Kolsch Ale; Aventinus Original Wheat Dopplebock; Optimator Spaten; Schneider Weisse Hefe-Weizen. Oh, where to begin?!!

500th!!!!- When I first signed up ( on MSN) I think it was more like 235!! I will most certainly Hoist a Flagon of Bier (or 10)!!

Sounds like a busy day with both the Regimental Birthday and "Drink A Bier With Tacoma Dave Day". I am gonna have to stock up lots of extra bier to make it through both events.

I am sure before it is all over I will probably end up falling off my horse!
