  Hi Andrew,

  Had contact with Roger Kauffman, and saw your message. I was in Support Platoon (73-76). Don't think I remember you from Redeye. I knew Dietrich, Cunningham, and a guy by the name of King (from Florida). King was in Oregon about 20 years ago, and left a voice message on my home phone, but I never could reach him.

  Thanks Andy, or do you prefer Andrew, I had heard the term Reforger used many times on Dragoon Base by troopers who came after  me and couldn't figure out what they were talking about. I sumize there were a lot of changes that took place after my time was up in 1960. One of the changes I was aware of was that when I was in Germany we were called companys not troops and it was 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Battalions. Our company was Howitzer Company, later refered to as Howitzer Battery.

  Welcome Andrew from a former M co trooper I have family in Santa Rosa I was born in Healdsburg I live up in El Dorado by Placerville now. Have fun On this site you should be able to find some troopers here from your time period and thanks for the volunteer work that you do,,
