Hey Bill, were the camps set up like this when you were with 11ACR?

That was the one and only time I've ever drank Kreuzberg. Quite the alcohol content, and excellent flavor. Love the reddish color too. Tried to find it in the states, but no deal. I can get dozens of original German biers at a deli near me, but not Kreuzberg.

Hey Bill, I had some of that monk bier when I went back to Germany in 2011. They had a small private ceremony for me at the 2d Cavalry museum and broke out a couple big bottles of Kreuzberg.51287371?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Rolling out to Graf and hohenfels to support tank gunnery (Graf) and 2 month combat scenerios at Hohenfels. Was a hard job but I loved it and my fellow soldiers. Doing PT my first duty station and I can remember running up and down and around the mountain. Took awhile to get acclomated to that environment. Drinking my first German beer and loved it!! The commoradery man I miss that. Going to krouzburg and drinking at the monestary again best beer ever!
