Dec 1968 - 2nd Platoon Ldr - Border tour and testing 20mm for M114's at Graf - Assigned as S-4 Officer (as 2LT) by LTC Osborn and was way over my head - Very fortunate to have some great NCO's that got me through. May 1970 replaced by CPT Mick Mason who became a client 20+ years later. The Cav was great - lived on the economy with some wonderful Germans.
Tell us a little about you now.
Retired now - 10 years with UPS - 8 years with Singer-Link selling helicopter simulators to the Army - 22 years as a headhunter (my own company) - divorced and remarried 22 years. Spend my time training retrievers, bird hunting and shooting skeet - serve on a couple of non-profit boards.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
LTC Bob Osborn (found now deceased), Dave Glamm (found), Gary Agren (found), Bob McCoy (found), My driver Sgt Tom Ruggles (found), Hal Roth (found), Don Borey (found).

Hey Lt.
I am the one and the same. It's great to hear from you and have you here on the site. I was going through some of my stuff last week and still have a letter of appreciation you wrote for me back then. When I left Amberg I ended up at Ft. Bliss for 2 years, got out in '72. I went back in the Reserve in '82, got to the rank of SFC E7 and was on the list for E8 when I got out. I now live in Washington state about 25 miles nw. of Seattle. Also got divorced after 20years, been remarried 26 years now, 6 kids altogether. Tom B. found me about 2 years ago, I've been able to connect with some of the guys back then and met a lot of great guys here. Oldtimers group is the place to be Keep in touch Lt. great to hear from you....JIM
