hey there , I was in 1st plt F-13 for most of my tour, I believe I remember you.
Boyd, I remembered you as soon as Don told me he contacted you. This is great. I've seen Don a few times in the last few years. I'll see Coogan when he is out West in June on vacation with his family. I also remember Hanson and Harrelson, but couldn't recall their names. We raised some hell together. I've been teaching school since '88. I've been on the Navajo Reservation teaching since '90. Our school logo is a scout and Ft. Defiance, where I live, was the site of a cavalry fort, active when the Indians were still on the warpath for putting them on reservations. Stuck here until my kids finish school in 4 years. Their mom is Navajo and she won't let me take them. Too cold in this part of AZ for me . Once a scout, always a scout. Keep in touch. Call if you like. It sure would be nice to get in contact with a few more people we all knew and meet for a reunion.
I was in 2nd platoon from Dec 76 to April 79. The CO when I got there was Capt. Gaudet, followed by the now infamous Capt. Ralph Hayles. You heard what happened to him, right? Your platoon leader was Lt Dibrell, wasn't it? He drove a cool, old (even then) Mercedes sports car, if I recall correctly.
Here is my e mail shoot me an e mail and I can add you to my contacts usually get some good jokes I ll pass em on I still have a warped sense of humor

Hey Boyd!, Glad you found this forum. Do I remember you? I would need to see a picture; names are 30 years ago and faded or replaced by tiny bubbles... I have more pictures I need to post, please you do the same. It's to bad there wasn't a group garrison photo like I've seen some post here. They have all been before of after my time there.
