Chuck,hope you have a Happy Birthday and stay healthy and merry !!!!!!!!!!!!
Chuck;
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I only have computer access at work, and then only at lunch.
It's going to take some time remembering 45 years ago. I spent 2 years in Texas at Ft. Bliss when I left Germany. Was out for 10 years and went back in the Army reserve for another 7 years got out as a E-7 SFC 11B mos. Alot of names and duty stations in that time. Do you remember Dale Swanberg and Skip Kostecka? I talked to both of them about 6 months ago. RC johnson and Tom and Bob Lavoie and I keep in touch. James Burgos was a clerk at Headquarters when we were there. As we chat back and forth my old memory will kick in. I live out in the Seattle area, rural county, can't stand cities. My oldest son Jim was born over there, my son Joshua lives in Franklin, Jim went to the first gulf war, Joshua to this one, got 2 more daughters, and 2 more sons. Divorced from my first wife that was over there with me. I'm still working at 64 and probably will be until 94 the way things are going. Today will be a short day only 11 hours work today.
Anyway Brother keep in touch, My home phone is 360-668-9318, we're 2 hours different than you. If you call I can be hard to get in touch with sometimes, Tom can attest to that. I spend alot of time in the garden and cutting and splitting wood, especially this time of year. So if you call and get the recorder leave a message I'll call back as soon as I can. Good to have you here Brother. Post pictures if you've got them. I'm still trying to find mine.
Welcome to the group, happy to have another Oldtimer. Lots of guys from your time in Germany. Gets a little crazy here sometimes, but always in good humor.
Chuck where is Clarksville? My son lives in Franklin.
Chuck you got the right guy. Been a long time since I thought of that sign. Good to see you on the sight Brother. Make sure you sign up on the Oldtimers group, that's where the fun is.
Do you remember Bob Lavoie and RC Johnson?
