I really enjoyed my stay on the rock, going in the field (Grafenwoehr or as we call it Graf.), Camp Gates & Weiden. Love the beerfest, the women,& the history.

Sounds like we rolled in some of the same mud and dust. I was in C Troop 1974-75. When I first arrived at the Rock C Troop was at the border, so off to Camp Gates I go for a few weeks. When I left to ETS I left directly from Camp Pitman in Weiden where I spent most of the time. Rarely saw the Rock.
