Tell us a little about your cav days.
Started off as a 36k, when there was a critical shortage of 13F OJT,d. Went on Border Patrols,and scouted the border as an FO. .In the Squadron we were brotheres, and had panache. I remember the sign on the gates to Warner barracks II."If you aint Cav yu aint S--T !

I was in Bamberg 82-83 and I too can noy give blood or plasma.
Tell your son to look to a good Program in his Community Colleges. Unless he wants to go the Culinary Institute of America or Johnson and Wales or a school of that caliber and expense he'll get a much better education a whole lot cheaper. My primary Instructor was actually studied at La Cordon Bleu in Paris for 3 years. But I hope he doesn't think just because you go to school that makes you a Chef. For the first few years, he'll be chopping veggies and cleaning up because the Chef did the same thing when HE got out of School 10 years ago. However it is one field where extreme advancement is possible,there are a whole lot of 20 and 30-something Chefs out there running outstanding restaurants.
