Dad was the motors officer in Bindlach, but it was way before your time (1953-55). He was in 'Nam with the 4th Inf Div when you were at the Rock.

Did you serve in any other units besides the 2d Cav? Was wondering if during your time as a track and wheeled vehicle mechanic you ran into a 5 foot tall MSG named Gettman. He was a T&WV mechanic/instructor from 1948-71.
