Toujours Pret Derek,
Welcome to the DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of updated features, lots of sub-groups,(ie, Officers Club, F-Trp., Amberg, Medics, etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history, and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures (pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about DragoonBase.

My son is a mover and works out at Ft Lewis a lot. He got the sign from a former Iron Troop commander who brought it back from Iraq. It's in my garage now and I'm thinking of turning it into a table top so me and my buds can spill a few beers on it.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

This was my first unit in the Army. Back then it didn't seem like much fun. We went to the field all the time and it sucked. The NCOs were hard. Now I look back and realize that those were my most prized days in the Army. As for buddies, Ralph G. Salas was my drinking buddy!!

Retired after 22 years. Can't believe how time flies. If anyone has the big I Troop picture from 89 or 90, let me know.
