I thoroughly enjoyed my days in 2ACR, living in Germany, and serving with great NCOs and officers.

Serving in 1/221st CAV, Nevada Army National Guard, and preparinjg to go to Afghanistan in a few months.

It's been a long time. Perhaps when you get home from Afghanistan we can whip up a Lightning Troop reunion. You were a Hell of a CO in the best damn Troop ever.

Good to see your doing well and still serving. I had always wondered what you were doing since you left Amberg. I knew you were going to the Michigan Nation Guard and a Armor unit but that wa all.
I know you will accomplish the misson and take care of the troops in Afganistan as you always did as Commander of Lightening Troop.

Toujours Pret Doug,Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
