17 years old joined the Army. Arrived in Germany in September 1976. New boot hardly any one would talk to you. After first year made friends and worked hard. The third year most fun cried when left.

Retired U,S, Coast guard,. Married 34 years and have five grown children. Live in Mountains of Virginia.
