  Hello Sir, 
  I was a SGT in your platoon when you first arrived in B Trp when SFC Ewing was our PSG.  We met again at Fort Knox, when I was there on DS duty.  I retired in 1998 as a 1SG, from, of all places, 2/2 ACR where I was 1SG of Fox Trp.   When we were in B Trp, I don't recall who was in command when you arrived, either 1LT Weber or CPT Bohlender.  1SG was ether 1SG Causey or 1SG Torres.

  I cannot recall our 1st Sgt. name. I remember I got along well with him and had a lot of respect for him. I remember him telling me that I had
  A lot of good marks with him and you after I transferred from B Troop after my DWI fiasco. If I remember right he walked with a cane. I may have that mixed up too. After so many years and so many faces at times I draw a blank.
  I loved soldiering and the Cav was really a special time of my life.
  You were a good officer I remember that. A combat soldier not a boot shiner.
  Hope everything is going well for you and your loved ones. My clan is doing well. take care Sir!

  Hi Jan,
  Do you Deer hunt and pheasant hunt down there? I am still Pheasnt hunting . Deer huntihg is done I took a Doe. Could have nailed to Bucks to but they have to at least 4 points on one side in the zone I hunt in and one did'nt the other one I could not see for sure. Don't enjoy killing them but I like eating them.

  Hey Captain,
  I have to tell you I enjoyed my time In Delta under you. You are an excellent officer! Fair and demanding! The Dueller was great! Maddox sucked! My 2 cents worth!I am busy raising for kids, Coaching baseball , and Basketball. I can still take it to the hoop at 51. We did our job well! Hope this finds you and yours well!

  Toujours Pret Sir,
  Welcome Jan to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
  Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
  Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
  If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
  And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
