Joe,
Have you tried Vetfriends.com? They have a 32d AADCOM group over there: http://www.vetfriends.com/units/?unit=18316
I was in 59th ADA for a minute before going to 2d Cav. It was a Hawk missile battery in Hanau. They sent me there after I got kicked out of the MP's for throwing a blanket party on a General's nephew. Some people just can't take a joke! (We beat the SHIT out of him with bars of soap in socks while others held him down with a blanket over him)
Anyway, at the 59th I somehow miraculously came up with an MOS for an advanced Hawk missile guidance system mechanic. I'd never heard of a Hawk missile, so they decided they were going to make me a gate guard on a remote mountain top missile site.
Between that and the company clerk always hitting on me trying to get in my pants, I went AWOL. Found out later the company clerk was Perry Watkins, the guy the Army later started the "don't ask, don't tell" policy over.
When I finally got caught a couple weeks later, it was off to the Czech border and the 2d Cav. No place left to run!!
