What unit(s) did you serve in with the 2d Cavalry?

    HHT 1/2 ACR

    Where were you stationed?

    Bindlach Germany

What MOS or job description did you have?

31C (AM Radio Teletype, RaTT). Mostly just a 577/HMMWV driver, mechanic, radio tuner, guard duty pulling, latrine burner and clerk for S2. Pretty much the same now as then.....jack of all trades master of none! Mostly my MOS was used to tune in to BBC late at night during DS to try to catch some current events.

    What was your rank/title?

    Specialist.

What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?

Oct '89 - Jan '92. At the time I thought it was too long. In hind sight I don't think it was long enough.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Great time in Germany. Lots of good beer and good times. Overall probably the funnest most exciting 2 years of my life.

Tell us a little about you now.

Unlike my "glory" days I've settled down A LOT. Now, I'm a computer programmer, husband and father. Husband and father are titles I'll keep. As for Computer programmer...........Well, if something better comes along.......

    Phone number (Optional).

    417-581-5241

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.

Victor Barrios, JB McClung, Mike Kiolbasa, Toby Vogt, I'm sure there are others that I can't think of right now. Haven't heard from Jeff Meeks in a long time. Discovered a year or so ago that Troy Bennett was killed in an auto accident in Idaho. If anyone's looking for me I can also be found on Facebook.
