  I spent part of 1972 and 1973 in Stuttgart with the 385th MP Bn as an E-1. Got to pull security at the Air Force 25th anniversary party there 9/72. Went tdy to Neu Ulm because of race riots down there at the base that housed all the Pershing missile guys. Turned into a permanent transfer and I loved the duty/people there. Hated to leave.
