What unit(s) did you serve in with the 2d Cavalry?
My brother, Richard G. Miles, served with the 2nd ACR during Desert Storm. He was a 2 LT, MI officer and part of the Battle of 73 Easting. I am a service member, as a Chinook helicopter pilot and a participant in the US Cavalry Association competitions.
Where were you stationed?
I've been stationed with the 25th ID and various Reserve and National Guard units. Richard was in Nuremberg, Germany
What MOS or job description did you have?
I am an aviator. Richard was a military intelligence officer
What was your rank/title?
I am a retired (on paper) Major. Currently serving as a CW2. Richard exited as a CPT I believe.
What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?
I commissioned Richard in 1987. He reported in 1988 after OBC @ Ft. Huachuca. He exitted in 1991, after the ground war ended.
