Welcome to Dragoon Base, Kent. Wishes for a quick/full recovery, my neighbor to the east.
I don't recognize any of the names on your list as being members here, but with over 1700 on the membership list and growing, it's pretty hard to keep track of everybody. Hopefully you will be able to track down some old friends, or surely make some new ones.
Noticed you were with WNG. Dad was extremely proud of his service with them from 1930-38 in Co F, 161st Inf, 41st Div, Walla Walla. In 1935 he won the All National Guard Individual and Team Rifle Championships at Ft Lewis and in 1936 won the Camp Perry, Ohio National Rifle Match Individual Championship in the National Guard Division.
He won over 150 shooting medals while with WNG, and it was the beginning of his 37 year career, 8 with WNG and 29 active Army including WW II, Korea and Vietnam. We also both proudly served in the 2d Armored Cavalry.
Toujours Pret!
