Tell us a little about your cav days.
LOL - At the end of a Reforger the antenna on SFC Parrets command tank hit a power line that ran a cross-country electric train. Unfortunately, a couple of main gun rounds sorta exploded/burst open and spread flaming debris in the crew compartment - sending me and Sgt Smith(?) to the hospital for a couple weeks. I think everybody in the column was drunk - we had had quite a weeny-roast beer bust to celebrate the end of the maneuver... and then we got unexpected early move orders. The whole column was following the drunk guy in front, so we were lost (pre-GPS days). Took a while for the ambulance to find us. Note: this is NOT a negative memory, it's just a memorable story now and I look back on my army experience with fondness.
Tell us a little about you now.
