Hello, I am the president of a Belgian re-enactment group called "Remember". We are re-enacting US Troops from 1900 until present day, of any branch or any unit. We have been invited at the beginning of April by the 2nd ACR to visit the Rose Barracks and even to participate at the Ball Ceremony. For that occasion we were dressed with our WW2 2nd ACR uniforms. We met a lot of fantastic people! And let me tell you that you have a big group of supporters in Belgium! We are all looking forward to meet you again! "Always Ready"! Marc

Dang, I almost missed it. Happy birthday, Marc!
Happy Birthday, Marc! Your second one as a Dragoon Base member.
Thanks Marc. I ventured out on my own and tried a few, with disappointing results.
The Tripel Karmeliet was barely drinkable, but I had to eventually pour the Trapistes Rochefort 10 out. I made it through most of it, but couldn't handle the burnt wood taste. Almost made me cry pouring out a $7.50 beer that was 11.3% alcohol.
The "Pissing David" beer as I call it on the far right end wasn't too bad though.
Ha ha! Regimental Command Sergeant Major Vic Morris brought that tapestry from Iraq and gave it to me in Vilseck.
As for the Belgian beer, I'm still working my way through the German biers and haven't had time to check out many Belgians. My #2 son brought those over the other night. We have a store here that has over 800 imported biers. Maybe you could suggest a couple for me to look for.
For my Belgian friends....
Marc,
I have two speeds...barely moving and standing still! Sometimes it takes awhile for things to get through to me. I just now realized it was YOUR name on the box I sent "Big Ben"with the 2d Cavalry glasses.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC
Wishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!
