1976-1978
Tell us a little about your cav days.
Got sick from the swine flu shot. Got knocked unconscious in Graf in December 1977 when a air filter flell on me. My 5 ton PLL truck caught fire in Graf while we were driving from a range, in April 1978. I turned 19 at Camp Coburg on border duty. I drank a lot of beer, both domestic and imported.
Tell us a little about you now.
I retireds from the US Army reserve in 2001 as the command senior legal clerk. Spent about 10 years in intelligence. I retired from the California DMV as a Driver Safety Officer. Married for 17 years. Have a son in 10th grade and a daughter in 5th. Work as a substitute teacher and a DMV consultant.

welcome to the Base Mark i was over in C Troop during your time. that flu shot was WICKED! I remember we got the shot on Friday so we would be sick on the weekend. There were guys that got sick and passed out before they even left the gym where we were taking the stuff. I didn't get sick until a couple of days later. I will never forget that.
