Matthew, I am happy that a negative comment that I had made back then had such a positive impact on you.  Usually negatives  get negatives.  I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 15 years, since I retired in 1994, and I am always bringing out the positvies within my students without the negative comments.  As for the names of others way back when, I remember Sgt Wilson as you do, but I do not remember his first name.  Lt Kulp was the platoon leader.  SSG Chewning was a tank commander.  SFC Virrill was the platoon sergeant for only a short time.  Steve Vaughn was a gunner.  My crew that were all kicked out of the Army, Sgt Jordan, PFC Weeks, and Sgt ???.  Some other last names that I remember were Garrison and Stamper.  I left M Co. in January of 1987 to go to I troop. so the names start getting foggy about that time.  My wife has a facebook account, but I do not.  We can trade comments through that avenue, my wife won't care.  Her account name is, Michelle Williams Block.  Talk at ya later.

I remember you well from our days in Amberg.  I hope that life is treating you well.  I am surprised that, at age 57, I can remember any names from my past.  Life is great with me.  I am married with a 14-year-old son and we live outside of Fort Knox.  Where do you call home?

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.

Patrick Virril, Chris Cavanaugh. Good friends!!
