Tell us a little about your cav days.
It was an honor to ride with the 2nd Dragoons in Iraq. In twenty years of active duty, 3 combat tours, and numerous units, I can say my short time with 2nd Cav is my most cherished.
Tell us a little about you now.
Still serving and deploying to Afganistan in Spring 2011.

Welcome to Dragoon Base, Mike.
You must have been part of the reflagging to 4-2 in '06. Had us all thinking it was the end of 2d Cav! Thankfully they recovered as always and the Cavalry spirit is alive and thriving.
Did you stay local after Ft Lewis, get stationed here again, or are you a natural mossback?
I didn't get out to see the Regiment when it was at Ft Lewis. Stopped by the Reed Museum a few times to drop off artifacts, but that was it. Didn't even know they were out here in the 80's until years later.
Hope to be in Vilseck when 2SCR returns from Afghanistan. You guys might be replacing some of their elements, if they don't win the war and the hearts of the country by then.
Thanks for your service to our country and continued support of the 2d Cav.
Always Ready, Sir!
