Tell us a little about your cav days.
During my tour, many of my buddies were sent to Vietnam. Those of us that stayed behind missed them and some of us wished that we could have gone with them. Working along side may of my buddies made my stay in Germany more tolerable. The winters were cold and the summers were very short. Overall, I enjoyed being there, I came home and brought back many good memories. I have kept in touch with my best friend Jack Reed. Some of the others I still remember and talk to them once in a while.
Tell us a little about you now.
After I left the military, I went back to school and started working. I got married and had a wonderful life for 40 years. My wife passed away in 2006. I worked for several School Districts in California and retired. Now, I don't do much, play a little golf, go on cruises, and vacations.

Toujours Pret Overlin,Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
