Check out the B Troop page. A picture of you
In your full glory!
Well.. go figure! I am not sure if you remember me at all, but I do remember you! I was in commo, but did a lot of Patrols while at the Border. Actually, went on a few patrols that you led. You had my complete respect. You were an outstanding NCO and performed the Mission flawlessly.. well, pretty damn close, anyway! lol Good to see you are on here!
Hey Paul,
Said you got on the wrong side of CSM. His last was not Krebs was it. That guy cost me my career and then had the cunt to apologize for it. Boot shining was his business and I hope to god no one had to go to war with him.
Joe
Paul,
Good to hear from you. I remember you .I can see you in your field jacket and ranger hat. If my memory serves me right you were a very good tanker too. Yea my 1st tank was a doosy. Had my driver who was a maniac steal a driver escape hatch from another company. I think I shot a three man crew that year we were always short men. We did walk the line and everyone one of us has bragging rights on that tour of duty. I finished out as a 6. Did about 5 years in the guard and reserves. Mortar platoon Sgt. then Liason Sgt. For a Artillery unit. Should have stuck it out for the retirement dough but did not. The guard Ancoa is a bed making deal . Did not want to go through that shit again.
Take Care
Joe
Paul I remember you from B Troop. You were a SSG then I believe(TC). Long time ago. I still dream about the place. I to drove truck when I got out for a year. Did not like it. I am still working , but, the Tanks took a toll on me too. Had a foot crushed at Ft. Riley during Gunnery and it has come back to haunt me in a big way. I am at 30% with the VA. So I guess in the end the Army stands behind me. I can,t remeber if I was on your crew for awhile before I got my 6 and my own tank? Take care ! The berets had just been taken away before I got there and then we given the Ranger style baseball caps.
