Tell us a little about your cav days.
My room started out being at the top of the stairs of the second floor on the right across from the latrine. Eddie Gamble, Price and Degrout were some of my room mates. Later on I moved down the hall and on the back side of the building. Captain Bird (who drove a orange BMW) was very good to me along with SSgt Crump who drove a small red pickup with a slide on camper. Sgt.s Gast and Puckharber were my tank commanders. Sgt Weston was the man to see if you wanted to buy a car and Howard P. M. Wamsley was one of my best buddys
Tell us a little about you now.
I just broke my arm over the week-end so now I have time to look back into the past. I'm married for the last 29 years with 2 beautiful girl's ages 28 and 19. After my dad died in 2007 we bought the family homestead in which I grew up in. My present job is with the Town of Franklin, on the water/sewer dept. for which I have been with for the last 24 years.

Toujours Pret Richard,Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.

Good to see someone who was on the Rock at the same time. I was in C Troop 1974-75. Spent most of the time on the border or in the field though.
