Welcome to the group Sir, I was in 1st PLT 75-76.
Hello Sir,
I was in K troop 3rd platoon in 1976. Was assigned to Sgt Bristols K15. I have very fond memories of the times. Good to see you here. I remember we had a going away party for you in the Motor pool in 1976 then I believe Lt Marcy took over command of K troop.
Anyway You were a True Leader, And to this day it was a privilege to serve under your command.
Cpl Graves
Welcome to DragoonBase, I knew the name sounded familiar , I was in I Trp from 75 to 78 and Drove for Cpt Hagan and Lt Poccia, so we met many times on Jeep-x's and such, hope you meet some old friends and make some new ones here and if you need help navigating the site do not hesitate to ask, I talked to Cpt McIntyres wife on facebook on a page called Pond Barracks if you are interested in connecting with David, He also has a page.

Welcome to Dragoon Base, Robert. Please make yourself at home.
I'm sure some of your former troopers must be lurking around here somewhere. K Troop always has great representation at the 2d Cavalry Association reunions. In fact, K Troop has its own group here with 66 members. Just a quick look showed Butch Page was a young sergeant under your command for the same years you were there. Jack Wayne was a Sp4 on your 1st platoon mortar track 75-76. Sp4 Oliver Talbert was another one of your 1st platoon guys 74-76. Tommy Bragg was one of your wheel mechanics 74-75. That was just a few I found with hardly looking. http://dragoonbase.com/group/ktroopamberg
We have quite a few groups here (currently 56) you might want to check out, including an Amberg group; a 3rd Squadron, Amberg group; an Officers Club group; and an Old Timers group where the Dragoon Saloon can be found. Things can get a little raucous and border on bawdy there at times, but everyone is harmless and friendly. It is by far our most active group but isn't for everybody. You are more than welcome.
If you have any questions or problems, just give a holler.
Always Ready, Sir!
