CSM MICHAEL GREENE was my 1SG CSM WATERS was SQDN CSM COL WOLF/COL MAY were the REGT CO CSM GAINEY/CSM BLACKWOOD were REGT CSM I loved the esprit de corps of the Cougar SQDN ,promise you that that morale and motivation was a one time shot at glory.

A lot of the people on your list have gone on to some pretty great positions in the military. Shows you the caliber of troopers serving in the 2d Cavalry.
I had the honor of having the Regiment in my backyard for a couple years after they left Ft Polk for Ft Lewis to transition to the Strykers.
Keep your eyes open for Toujours Pret patches, you know what I'm saying?
