When I arrived I worked as a mechanic because there was no opening for me and then was assigned to headquarters as radio and teletype operator

I am retired and have moved to N.C. from Bergen County N.J.

Hello Robert,
Where in Bergen County? 1960 and early 1961, before enlisting, I dated a girl from Hillsdale. Had lived in north Jersey until 1988, then moved south, down the Parkway. Moved a lot in my early years....Paterson, Haledon, Prospect Park among others. Worked in Ridgewood for a while. Join us over in the Oldtimers.
