Tell us a little about your cav days.

Served under LTC William Wallace and LTC David O. Bird (a.k.a. The SWOOP), CSM Dallas, SGM Beam, SGT Carl Kreitzer, SSG Hanvelt, 1SG William Brown, MAJ Coleman, those are just a few off the top of my head. I started out as the Fire Support NCO to I Troop 3/2 ACR and was moved up to HHC as the Squadron Fire Support Sergeant.

Tell us a little about you now.

I retired from active duty on September 1st, 2001, as a Sergeant First Class. I worked on a contract basis for the Lansing Recruiting BN as a Guidance Counselor at the Lansing Military Entrance Processing Station for 4 years after retirement. Currently I am a Co-Director of a nonprofit company that helps send the children of deployed service members to summer camp, and I am a volunteer at the State YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha. I have two children and two grand children.
