I miss drinking at the Kings Inn. Pedro and karen were great What ever happened to Sgt Ruby, and that no brain redneck Sgt. Powers, and Thimmig. It seemed like Cpt Gibson was out to give the entire army an article 15.

Toujours Pret Ted,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

I served in D. Co., 82nd Engineer Battalion, which was attached to 2nd Squadron of the 2nd ACR

Where were you stationed?

Bamberg, Germany

What MOS or job description did you have?

63Y10

What was your rank/title?

Specialist 4

What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?

1989 to 1991

Tell us a little about your cav days.

We supported the 2ACR in the field at Grafenwoehr, Germany during an M1A2 gunnery range just before Iraq invaded Kuwait and that was a loud SOB! We were also part of the Dragoon battle group during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. My buddy from high school, Jay Augustus, was a tanker in the Cav.

I currently live in Oregon and work as a restaurant manager
