Good to see you here LT.
I was in Support Plt. 68-71. Don't know if you remember, long time ago and alot of names ago. My son Jim was born over there. I was acting plt. sgt. for a short time until a new e-6 got there. Rotated back to the world to Ft. Bliss for 2 more years and got out. Went back in the reserve 10yrs. later did 7 more years. Good to have you here, looking forward to hearing more. JIM
Hey LT., I operated the 578, sorry I gave you so many headaches. I got out, went to Lamar, got a engineering degree, now retired from the offshore oil business. Glad your here. I talked to Alfer yesterday (welder).

Welcome to Dragoon Base, Tommy. My dad was also a motor officer with the 2d Cav, up in Bindlach when they were battalions instead of squadrons, back in the early 1950's. Spent my 1st and 21st birthdays there with the 2d Cav.
Make yourself at home. We have numerous groups you might be interested in. The "Officer's Club"; "Amberg Third Squadron"; "K Troop Amberg"; "Amberg"; "Border Patrol"; "Old Timers" (bring some tall boots); and several other groups you can check out.
You're free to start you own group if you like. Haven't noticed anything for the wrench benders. We could use a little PM around here!
Always Ready, Sir!
