  OK, the 21st of July is the Welcome Home ceremony and the beginning of the Vilseck Fest, 21-25 July.

  22 July is the Memorial Rededication for the Fallen Dragoons.

  25 July is the Reed Museum Rededication.

  27 July is the Regimental Change of Command Ceremony. Somewhere between the 21st and 25th, the 2d Cavalry Association will probably have a get together also.

  A bunch of us are starting in Switzerland and we are going to do a tour of the old border camps and stuff. Should be fun.

  YOUR NAME SOUNDS FAMILIAR.i WAS A 19D IN K TROOP 1986-1988.OUR LT.WAS POWELL UNTIL HE WAS INJURED AND REPLACED BY LT HARVEY.I HUNG OUT AT TIME WITH DAVID HEMAN,STANSBERY.PAUL CLARK,SGT BOWLER,ETC.JUST SOME NAME YOU MIGHT REMEMBER.IVE ALWAYS LIKED AMBERG I HAVE A GERMAN FAMILY I VISIT WHEN IM VISITING THERE LAST TIME WAS 5 YEARS AGO.I WORK IN MARYLAND NOW STILL FOR D.O,D.WHAT DO YOU DO IN HOHENFELS DO YOU WORK FOR THE MILITARY OR GERMAN JOB.WELL TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK IN ALL YOU DO.

  Craig,welcome to the site.I was stationed at Pond barracks 69-71.It is good to see someone living in Amberg now.I know it has changed the last time my wife and i were back was 2002.We lived on Georgenstrasse 34 for awhile  and in Gialoh.I have some pictures on my page from way back and from 2002.Hopefully you will find some old buddies.Do you live right in the town?
