      I saw your comment about the beer lady down the hill. Yes, her house was down on the right. I recall she would make you yodle to get beer in the wee hours of the morning. I was in K troop across the parade field from your baracks. My buddy I joined the Army with was in your troop L. His name was Tim Thomas. Did you know him? We were both there from late 79 to late 81.

      Hey, I was trying to post some photos and the site got weird.  I'll try again. I eventually married Angelika Hartl, a girl from Amberg. 6 years later. Now we have two kids, Emily 11, Chris 8 and live in ATL.

      Hey Dude, I remember you. I was in 2nd platoon. Mike Witnall was my driver,I was loader/gunner, Squeaky White was my TC. Cris Stamm and I often switched loader gunner positions.

      Welcome to the base James, was at Pond 72-73 myself HHT squadron maint.  I  and aother 45k20 took the place of his first name eludis me but remember for sure his last name was Pearce  probally no connection but your last name caught me so thought  I'd give you a welcome,lots of good chat on here and reflections.. enjoy and thanks for your service   "Toujours Pret" brother...
