I didn't realize you served in 2ACR also. Or maybe I did and just forgot. Can you believe it's been 25 years since the Bde Recon Platoon, 2AD (FWD) went tearing across the desert? I couldn't have asked for a better Section Sergeant to go into combat with. You kept B section safe, trained and out of trouble. Cheers brother.
I thingk I took that picture their ? how you doing?
Stan, I will never forget you. You were my first mentore, you and that blockhead Thompson. I am out in California back homne after I retired. You can reach me directly at daniel.gastelum1@yahoo.com I am also on facebook. How are you?

Visited the "Rock" last July and hardly recognized the place. Not very many of the original buildings left, but there were a few. Headquarters is still there, but it is a retirement home. The gym and library, motor pool, tank park are still there, and that old Quonset hut down by headquarters.
This photo is from November 2008 when I visited. Didn't take any photos last July. It was getting late and we had to get back to Vilseck before it got dark.
C Troop 1974-75. Quite a few of us old Charlie Troopers hanging around here. We even have our own group.
Hope you find some of your old buddies, Stan.
Always Ready!
