met a lot of good guys and spent a lot of time in the field and at the scrounge I think it was called the red fox? and spent time at the rod and gun club

Welcome to the dragoon base Steve.. and yes, I remember you well. That crushed finger story is one that I have told a few times.. Hope you didn't wind up loosing the finger. I have only run into a few of the guys from Bamberg that remembers me.. I went to visit Jimmy Mursell in Florida but sadly, he had passed away just a few months before my visit. I also went to visit Thomas Velez in NY last year.. we had a blast talking about the old days.. he operated the cherry picker in our motor pool.
