Tell us a little about your cav days.

I joined as part of the first volunteer Army program had not even received my draft card yet. Recruiter was with 2d Cav. Loved my border patrols, Reforger, Camp Hof, Camp Coburg, night firing of both m551 and M60A1, blizzards,rail-heads, Convoys on alert marches. Just as if were yesterday. So much forgotten now slowly coming back

After leaving Regular Army stayed on with Reserves Co C Bn 362d Regt 2d Bde (BCT) 91st Div Tng and became a Drill Sgt. Used my GI bill on education AA Deg. did 2 yrs work with VA in college setting help Vets get their benefits. Went into electronic field until bottom fell out. Now 16 yrs with current employer school district as Day custodian ready to retire about 4 yrs.
