Hello Andrea I hope that you are well. 1SG Dave Gray contacting you from Germany. I like you stumbled upon this site only yesterday after a Google search. D CO had alot of fine soldiers including your brother David. Losing him was such a tragedy especially so after just bringing all of our troopers home safely from Desert Shield and Desert Storm. We will always miss him. It was great seeing several photos of David with his fellow soldiers and friends.

My first daughter was born in 1995, so Dave must have been the Godfather to someone else. My wife (then girlfriend) and I often went out with Dave and others to a local pub or to see a live band. We all had a love for music and fun-those were good times. We were members of same company (D co.), and a lot of close friendships were made. I think about them often. Take care,John
I'm terribly saddened to hear of your brother's passing. If you don't mind my asking, was it related to his deployment to Iraq in any way?
Do you know what troop your brother was in? It would make it easier to track down someone who knew him. There are several members here whoserved during the DS era.
