      is this McCann who command a tank in 2nd platoon who's final drive came undone and you tank went off the road and mard the ground?

      Sorry for long delay in replying.  The day after your post I broke my right hand in a bike accident and am only just getting my act back together.

       

      Yes, I turned over DCo to CPT Skinner.  I've got a pic of the change of command up at Camp Gates with some others I just put up.

       Arthur,

       You are absolutely correct Top Rentiera was TOPS.

       Being in the CAV and 2nd ACR was the best. It had a dedicated cadre of proffesionals and all around good people.

       I remember one time when we were on reaction we had an alert and had to go to our alert area and you were the temporary TC and I was your temporary gunner.

      Have you ever heard from David Churchill, how about SFC Micheal Reynolds , i think he lives in Texas.  How about John Keck, and Dunken Hurst is on here but he never answers back.  Well try to stay cool.  Take Care Rick.

    Tell us a little about your cav days.

    Best time I spent in the army. Loved every minute of it and served with some of the best men I've ever know. Hard work, hard training but we played hard as well.


    Tell us a little about you now.

    Retired from the army and taught at the Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Knox until this summer when it moved to fort Benning. Right now I'm semi retired.


    Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
