Retired as a CW4. Flew Air Medical in the mountains Western North Carolina. Based at Mission Hospital in Asheville. Wrote a NVG training program for civilian use. Fought with the FAA for two years to get NVG’s approved for civilian use. Was the first civilian NVG Check Airman. Flew the First FAA approved civilian flight Feb. 1999. Retired 2015.
